Training has gone back to Thursday evenings, starting around 5pm.
Remember to have a drink bottle with you and your race / protective gear on, including flat pedals. (NO CLIPLESS PEDAL AT TRAINING!!!!)
Just a note to non-club members, if we are using the track for training, then you will have to come back when we have finished.
The other option is to join the club and get involved in some top quality training evenings. |

Our twilight season will run through to just prior to Xmas. It will then have a short break, and recommence mid to late Jan 2010 and continue through to Easter.
We always welcome new riders to our club evenings and your 1st time you give it a go is free, so remember to bring your friends down as well. |

There is a squad of riers heading over to Cambridge to attend the 2009 North Island Championships over Labour weekend.
We wish them all the best.
A special mention must go to Monique SMITH, who competed at the pre-Norths meeting a couple of weeks ago and was selected in the New Zealand Senior Girls Test Squad to face the Australian Senior Girls squad at the North Island Champs over the Labour Weekend.
As the top rider selected, she has also been named as the captain of the New Zealand team.
So Monique, remember to 'Ride it like ya stole it!!!!!' |

Twilight BMX will recommence on Monday 2 November 2009.
Sign on is from 5.30pm, with racing commencing at 6.00pm. (Please try to be there by 5.45pm at the latest so we can commence on time. If you are going to be late, you can text your entries ahead for the night to 0276744991.)
There is also a BBQ running so you can watch racing and get tea sorted at the same time.
We have had some committee members leave over the past few months and are now looking for some assistance to run these club nights. We need help around the track, at the BBQ, and also in the hut now and then, so if you are able to offer your time, please see the ladies in the hut. Thanks.
We have also had a problem with graffiti lately at the track. If you see anyone acting suspiciously, a phone call to the Police would be greatly appreciated.
Remember, everyone in the club that would like to ride / race, whether it be at a club night or out of town, IS required to have a BMX Licence of some form.
